Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ATBP Hosting Ltd. ("we") handles personal information when you use atbphosting.com, billing.atbphosting.com, our game panel and our Discord server. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for customers in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, username, and a securely hashed password. Your country, if you give it.
- Billing records: orders, invoices, payments and account credit. For card and PayPal payments the processor handles your card details; we never see or store full card numbers. For GCash, Maya and bank transfers we keep the reference number, amount and the sender name or number shown on the transfer, so we can match the payment to your account.
- Service data: the files and settings on your servers, and technical logs such as panel activity, login times and IP addresses.
- Support: messages you send us by email, chat, ticket or in our Discord server, and your Discord user ID if you link Discord or contact us there.
- Website data: cookies that keep you logged in and protect forms, and the chat widget's cookie that keeps your conversation. We do not use advertising cookies.
2. Why we use it
- to set up, run, renew and support the services you order;
- to take payments, keep accounting and tax records, and prevent fraud and payment disputes;
- to keep our systems and other customers safe, including investigating abuse;
- to send you service emails such as invoices, suspension and deletion warnings, and important changes. We send marketing only if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- payment processors (for example PayPal and Stripe) and the wallets and banks you pay from;
- Cloudflare, which protects and delivers our websites and sees visitors' IP addresses;
- our email and live chat providers, including Brevo;
- Discord, when you contact us there;
- the data centres that host our machines, in Singapore, Japan and North America;
- domain registries and registrars, when you register a domain (their rules may require your contact details in the domain record);
- authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Some of these providers are outside your country, so your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, Singapore, Japan and elsewhere. We use providers that protect it to a comparable standard.
4. How long we keep it
- Server files and backups are deleted when the service is terminated.
- Account details are kept while your account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete or anonymise them, except billing records.
- Billing and accounting records are kept for as long as tax law requires, currently six years in Canada.
- Technical logs are kept for a limited time, normally no longer than a year, unless needed to investigate abuse.
5. Security
We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections, hashed passwords and limited staff access. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (subject to records the law requires us to keep). You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To make a request, email [email protected], open a ticket in our Discord server, or use the chat on billing.atbphosting.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission.
7. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Customers under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to use our services.
8. Changes
We will post any change to this policy here and update the date at the top. For significant changes we will also let customers know by email or in our Discord server.
